Derby Panther Tyler Ring is sprinting toward the podium this year. Telling VYPE he wants to make it to the state track meet.
Ring gave credit to those who have helped him along the way including, Piper Hula who he says made a big impact on him. Sharing that “if you look at everyone’s placing in events and how many points they score, she is unquestionably the best runner on the team. And the part that leaves a lasting impression is that you would never know it if you just showed up to practice. She is extremely humble and just leads by example. I would love to ever be as competitive in my events as her or as humble as her.”
And although Ring has enjoyed many moments with his team his favorites are when they all go out to eat together after a meet and everyone get to “hangout”.
