NOTE: Derby Public Schools is closely monitoring the status of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE). During enrollment, families will be asked to select, based on their comfort levels, and commit to a learning model for a 9-week grading period. Please review the support materials HERE ahead of completing this step. 
**Completing enrollment as soon as possible allows the district for better planning and more accurate classroom assignments and numbers. However, if you have a USD260 address you’d be able to enroll at any point during the year at your home attendance school. Please contact your school office to enroll.**

Enrollment Steps
• Step 1:

> Returning and pre-enrolled students: Starting July 22, click the “Enroll” button below to begin the enrollment process.

*Parents must have their Skyward username and password. Contact your school office if you need login assistance. If you would like to pay fees and add money for lunch, log in to e~funds. If you are unable to pay your fees at enrollment or wish to set up a payment plan, please complete a Promise to Pay form. If you are applying for free or reduced lunches, the applications are available on our website. If you do not have access to a computer, please visit your student’s school on the dates designated for new student enrollment. 

Due to boundary changes for the 2020-2021 school year, all students (including returning students) will be required to submit a proof of residency that verifies you live within the district boundaries. For proof of residency, please submit a utility bill (water/gas/electric) via e-mail or fax to your building secretary, or drop off during in-person enrollment. Families that do not have this must have approval from the building’s principal.

*If you are switching home attendance schools due to boundary changes, you are not considered new to the district and will still be able to enroll online.


> New students: Please visit the school your child will be attending to enroll. Click HERE to view on-site enrollment dates/times and access an address locator tool.

 If you have a pending Transfer request, please do not enroll your student until after the transfer meetings. Elementary In-District Transfer Meeting is July 30 and Elementary Out-of-District Transfer Meeting is August 4; Secondary In-District Transfer Meeting is July 31 and Secondary Out-of-District Transfer Meeting is August 6.
