
Derby’s Brooke Rice recently interview with VYPE before hitting the court this season.
VYPE: What are your personal goals for the year?
My goals for this year are to maintain good grades in school and end the season with better stats than last years.
VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?
The most fun I have had in the past year was going to Camp Horizon for a week this summer and have a great time with my friends.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade, and why?
My favorite teacher is Mr. Packard from my junior year because he never failed to keep the class entertained with his humor.
VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?
My favorite athletic memory is going to KU camp this summer and spending time with my teammates.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
My current teammate Lily Waters has left a big impression on me because we have been warmup partners since my Sophomore year (her freshmen year) and she is always super positive and I love being able to be on this team with her.
VYPE: What is your favorite part of being on this team?
My favorite part of being on this team is that we all get a long very well which makes it a super enjoyable experience.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation. Where do you go, and who do you take with you?
I would probably go to North Carolina and bring my two older sisters.
VYPE: If we gave you $500 and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, what would you spend it on?
I would definitely buy a Labradoodle.
VYPE: Do you participate in any community service projects?
I help pick up trash around the school campus and have helped run the Mistletoe Market at my church in the winter.
