Derby football player Derek Hubbard told VYPE “my favorite part of being on the team is building bonds with different people.”
Hubbard shared that former teammates “Dylan Edwards and Sam Samè” had a big impact on him “because it’s inspiring seeing how far they’ve gone.”
This year Hubbard aims “to lead the team to a state title.” Recalling that “my favorite athletic memory has been winning state.”
Off the field, Hubbard does “the college ambassador group” and dreams of taking a trip to “Dubai.”
