Derby’s Isaac Brown says he wants to “leave a lasting impression on the people around me and work towards being a better leader.” Telling VYPE that this is something he and his team have in common.
Brown said “we have a very hard working group of athletes, we work to be our personal best, and hit new PR’s each and every week.”
Brown was eager to site the efforts of a few key players, sharing that Mason Madrigal and Miles Minson “both have helped me gain a lot of passion for the sport and have a better mentality about the practice side of it.”
When we asked Brown to share an example of one of his favorite athletic memories a moment that stood out to him was “winning regionals with the track team, we weren’t expected to, but we came out of no where and won it. It felt good to win as a team and earn it.”
And while Brown works to “improve” himself and “become more fluent in Spanish” he continues to value that his team can be both “fun and serious at the same time” saying “we’re a fun team.”
