

The Derby boys soccer team won a share of the Ark Valley Chisholm Trail League (AVCTL) after its 2-0 win against Newton on Tuesday.
The Panthers will share the AVCTL title with Maize South, after the two drew 0-0 September 27th. Derby is currently 13-1-1 overall (5-0-1 AVCTL), with its one loss coming at the hands of Wichita East 1-0.
Derby hasn’t allowed more than one goal in a game, and has outscored its opponents 43-5 this year.
Derby will take on Eisenhower at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday to end to wrap up its regular season. Postseason play starts next week for the Panthers.
