Derby soccer player Mason Richardson told VYPE in a recent interview that his favorite part of being on this years team is “Everyone is always having fun, as well as the coaches.”
This season Richardson says “my main goals for this upcoming school year are to win state, and finish school in December.” Richardson shared that as a Panther “I have fun every time I play soccer and hangout with friends.”
In fact, fellow soccer player “Ansel has made the biggest impression on me. He is always working hard, willing to learn, and determined to make a difference.” said Richardson.
Richardsons loves “Traveling to different states for soccer, and trying new things/food.” And his devotion to the game isn’t just shown on the Derby High School pitch. Richardson also plays “club soccer for Sporting Wichita. To stay active, compete, and have fun.”
