Boruch Skierkier was recognized for his outstanding work in the classroom and on the court and was named the Cowley College Male Athlete of the Month for November 2022.
Skierkier is a returning All-American for the Tiger tennis team that finished as the national runner-up during the 2022 season. After winning the ITA Cup doubles championship with partner Bruno Nhavene in the fall, the duo is ranked No. 1 nationally in doubles. Skierkier is ranked eighth in the nation in singles.
The business administration major has a 3.62-grade point average.
Maci Cole was recognized for her outstanding work in the classroom and playing field and named Cowley College’s Female Athlete of the Month for November 2022.
Cole was named an NJCAA Division II All-American and Freshman of the Year in the conference after batting .486 with 14 home runs, 20 doubles, and 62 runs batted in during the 2022 season. Cole added six triples and 27 stolen bases. Along with playing in the infield, Cole will also see time behind the plate.
The pre-engineering major has a 3.53 GPA.
